Frequently Asked Questions

Can our organization submit different grant applications in different categories?

No. Each organization may submit only one grant application each year.

Will IMPACT 100 Pensacola Bay Area decide which Focus Area will review an application?

No. Each organization is responsible for deciding in which focus area (Arts & Culture; Education; Environment; Family; Health & Wellness) to apply.

How will IMPACT 100 Pensacola Bay Area decide who will get the grants?

Grant applications will be accepted in five focus areas: arts & culture, education, environment, family, health & wellness. Each focus area will have a committee made up of members and chaired by an IMPACT 100 Pensacola Bay Area board member. These committees will accept grant applications in their particular focus area and will evaluate the applications to select a deserving finalist. The due diligence process will include research and site visits. Information on the five finalists will be delivered to each member for review, and a member meeting will be held at which the finalists will give a short presentation. At that meeting, members will vote for the finalist of their choice. The organization receiving the majority of votes will receive the entire grant. IMPACT 100 Pensacola Bay Area will award two grants and members will vote for their top two choices.

If we submit a proposal this year that is not funded, how soon can we resubmit the proposal?

You may apply again the following year.
